TGIF! Today has been interesting. After work, I went shopping to try on/buy a swimsuit. I might as well have stuck sharpened sticks in my eyes- that would have felt better than seeing my reflection in the flourescent lights at Belk. Somehow, I'm not where I thought I would be, physically, when I thought about swimsuit season a few months ago. Let's just say that I have some work to do...
Speaking of work, Evan apparently has decided to have a new profession- hair cutting. At least, that's what he did a few minutes ago when he was in one room and I was on the phone with Chris in the other room. Out of the blue, he decided to pick up a pair of scissors and cut a chunk of hair from the exact middle of his head. He cut at least 2 inches! Dork. See the picture- Chris actually got to hear the yelling I did when I discovered what he had done. Why do kids do things like this? Erin, by-the-way, is today's little angel.
I'm looking foward to a good night's sleep.

I would like to suggest a few alternate names for your blog:
* I Can't Believe My House Is Still Clean
* Trial Separation
* We Notice Your Absence
* 29 Nights of Quiet Snore-Free Sleep
* Wow, There's Cookies Still Left in the Cupboard
I thought you got a big gift certificate for Christmas from Chris for a bathing suit at Everything but Water... Is the one you looked for a Belk a second? Maybe you should try faux tan before you try on again! I feel your pain. xoxoxox Mom
LOL about Evan's hair - Don't you remember that I did that as well as a kid??? Or was that Adam Bickford that did it for me? I don't remember. Maybe it's a boy thing...
AGREED on the swimsuit fiasco. Why didn't we follow through on our challenge - oh well, we'll be "curveasous" (sp?) women together in June - some a little less so than before! :) At least you won't be as white as me...Seattle = not good for tans.
